Ruger Mark II, Mark III, and 22/45 Related Questions &
Answers
Questions |
Answers |
Will the Volquartsen V-Comp work on the Ruger Mark
II Slab Side? |
No, the V-Comp cannot be used on the Ruger
Slab Side because there is no way to prevent the hot gasses generated during firing from
coming back towards the shooter. The Volquartsen V-Comp is only to be used on bull
barrels. For Slab Side barrels, the Volquartsen Slab Side Comp (VC2CS)
should be used. |
Can the Volquartsen Accurizing Kit be used in the
Ruger 22/45? |
Yes, all parts in the Volquartsen Accurizing Kit,
except the sear spring, may be used in the Ruger 22/45. The 22/45's sear spring is a
different shape. Just use the factory sear spring, the difference in the trigger
pull will be negligible. |
What Volquartsen Mark II parts can be
used in the new Mark III? |
The Volquartsen Target Sear (VC2TS)
and the Volquartsen Extended Bolt Release (VC2BR or VC2SR) will work in the
Mark III. |
